Being Half Healed Is Still Healing
On the discomfort of progress and why the middle is its own kind of sacred.

No one posts photos from the middle of healing. We share the before and the after, the diagnosis and the recovery, the breakup and the glow-up. The middle is unphotogenic. It’s also where most of us are.
The discomfort of progress
Half-healed feels worse than broken, sometimes. When you were broken, at least everyone agreed you were struggling. Half-healed, you look fine. You’re functioning. You just aren’t whole yet.
The middle is its own kind of sacred. It’s where the work happens.
A small permission
If you’re in the middle of something right now, you don’t owe anyone a finished version of yourself. Being half-healed is still healing. It counts.
